Chesapeake Energy is pleased to be active in downtown Fort Worth. We currently have four drillsites identified to develop the minerals located below downtown.
West Gate – We recently obtained the drilling permit for the West Gate drillsite on the south side of downtown, behind the old Star Telegram warehouse and next to the railroad tracks.
Ron – We have submitted permits for the Ron 1H drillsite on the southeast side of downtown near the railroad tracks.
Henderson Bazaar – We obtained this permit earlier this year and anticipate drilling will begin by early 2009.
West 4th Street – Drilling began at this location during the past year, and we anticipate the use of this drillsite to develop minerals in downtown.
